What is the Florida Senate Bill 7040
Signed by Governor Ron Desantis on June 28, 2024, this pertains to the ratification of the Department of Environmental Protection’s Rules Relating to Stormwater. This bill has updated the nutrient loading reduction, Operation, Maintenance, and Inspection requirements for Stormwater Maintenance Facilities.
Stormwater-related pollution represents one of the largest potential contributors of nutrients throughout the state.
